Gantt Chart

It is accepted as the most important project management tool until today. It provides a graphic mechanism of planning, controlling work and recording the progress of workers toward the task standard.

A Gantt chart is a popular type of bar chart that illustrate a project schedule. Gantt chart illustrate the terminal elements and summary elements comprise the work breakdown structure of the project. Gantt charts can be used to show current schedule status using percent complete shadings.
